Who I Am

As a former homeschooled midwestern turned New York City businesswoman, I am constantly challenging myself to learn and grow.

I moved to New York City in 2017 after spending 4 months abroad traveling solo to 12 countries. Knowing only 4 people in NYC, I felt just as I had when traveling, alone but unafraid. I quickly made friends, established a routine, found a church and fell in love with NYC.

While working in client services, I've had the opportunities to present to executives of Fortune 100 companies, manage client relationships, and travel across the country on engagements. One of the most important skills I gained was how to form an opinion on topics I learned only hours in advance and present my findings clearly and concisely.

Outside of work, I've explored passions such as community involvement, fashion & beauty, and travel. Currently, I host a podcast "Cup of Common Grounds" where my guests and I discuss difficult topics to build understanding.
